Maybe, just maybe, prudish attitudes regarding sex weren't arbitrary rules invented by a patriarchal society but are actually rooted in human behaviour, checks that kept our more debased impulses in line. Not something to be toppled in the name of progress, culture, and sophistication without any regard for second-order consequences.
I have something called a 'book'. Doesn't require recharging, can't be bricked, I can lend it to anyone I want, and the oldest ones I have are still working as new over a hundred years after they were made. Reference manual at https://www.lanesmithbooks.com/its-a-book
It's all fun and games until it affects one's bottom line. Similarly to AI, only now are progressives in the position of being the naysayers because it affects them directly. Everyone has their agenda (and that's okay to a point), but the moral posturing about these types of issues is sickening.
I still cannot make AI do anything with quality higher than the function level. I've been using it a lot to write some more complex functions and SQL with a quality level that I find good, but anything higher order and it's a complete clusterfuck. Cannot comprehend this world where people say they are building entire companies and whole products with it.
