That is not really related to this thread since this is about how to "start a company with no free time" (hint: there is no such thing as "no free time"), but to answer your question, I did reach my goal and went above and beyond.
Yeah, i'm not advocating that you do this until you burn out or die. I think the most important part is that I would sometimes just stop working when I don't feel like it. And don't do anything, or sleep for 12 hours, or whatever. Then soon enough I will want to come back.
I recommend GitHub Desktop to most of my coworkers that come to me with git problems. It's nice in that it also installs a command line version of git that I use with Powershell. In that sense it is useful because they can grow into power users should the need arise.
Ah ok, I'll let my Eclipse Git coworkers know about this. Shame there isn't a Linux version or I could give it a go myself to see how it compares. I assume it does branching well.
This is a fascinating idea. Could you elaborate on how you think the additional computational complexity would give rise to attraction between particles in matter-dense regions?
Spacetime just stretches to reduce the effective density in a flat universe and maintain an effectively constant information density - thus gravity and time dilation.
In practice, getting the other party to name their number first is very difficult to achieve for a junior developer talking to an experienced HR/recruiter, so this isn't great advice.
Actually this is one of the only times the candidate could credibly say, "Gee, I don't know, I've never had a full-time job and am still calibrating my expectations, maybe you can help me here?" After the first job, subsequent employers will usually try to calibrate themselves to your previous one.
What I don't get is the sites that load ALL their content using JavaScript. Sure, I see the point in loading more content if the user scrolls down to the bottom of the page, but why would you do that straight away?
I'm guessing they're running a reverse SSH tunnel through their own servers which your devices then connect to to get to your hard drive. Probably connecting to a common port such as 80 or 443 to avoid any issues with firewalls.
