My gut reaction to this was "Can't be a bad thing, let all of the hatred currently vented on Twitter and let it go somewhere else". But this is how Stormfront essentially works, and it's a bad thing - an echo chamber of "kill all the [insert group]" leads to thinking that's acceptable, or even a good idea. It's why mass shooters are announcing their plans on 4chan.
People need to be told that their ideas are wrong, not given a new playground where everyone agrees with them. Kudos to Twitter for saying death threats and jihadism are wrong and not supported on their platform.
