My company has just launched Career Trend
(https://careertrend.com), a website that combines career content (articles) with visualizations of US data for unique insights.
Pulling the data together was not as simple as it might seem. The jobs graphs, for example, pull data from several different offices at the US Department of Labor, and span multiple occupation classification systems.
In addition to the standard article pages, we developed occupation landing pages which are infused with data about salary, job growth and college majors. Lots of fascinating insights can come out of this. One of my favorites is to compare childcare (https://careertrend.com/childcare-workers.html) to animal care (https://careertrend.com/animal-care-and-service-workers.html) occupation growth over the last few years.
