I agree, don't panic. However that phrase isn't especially useful. Clinical trials failing isn't uncommon either.

There are also multiple other vaccines using completely different techniques to trigger immunity in stage 3 trials if this ultimately fails

Yeah given the size of their trial there's a good chance this is a reaction to something else rather than the vaccine.
