Gimp is no where near to be an alternative to photoshop. I understand its an open source and free software, but I would rather prefer someone taking money and polishing the software for human usage. Affinity suite is much more recommendable. It offers a lifetime license and is actually a polished and alternate software with most of the feature parity.
