I hope things have improved in the meantime. I remember reading about wargaming from the past years as showing a very strong hand for China. From a convenient FP post:

As an American I hope something in the defense has changed in the meantime, and I would like to learn from an updated situation report. A WSJ article from today seems confidant on the USA's ability to maintain the status quo (although it would require substantial sacrifices from both the USA and Taiwan.), I don't understand why the "West" should be more confidant than from two years prior.
