Fed up with Evernote; what are your recommendations?: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36781119

Evernote will restrict free users to 50 notes starting December 4: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38478398

Hacker News has been declaring Evernote dead for a long time, but these Italian guys from Bending Spoons are improving the app notably. It now works better and I hope one day we will reach a performance comparable to the old app.

I'm happy they introduced limitations in their free tier. As a paying user, I want my euros to be used to improve the app not to subsidy free riders.

The best version of their tech was probably around 2016.
